Body Wrap Shapewear

Even if you’re plus sized, if knit dresses and sheer tops are catching your eye this season, as they are mine, slip them on. Thanks to the supportive, smoothing effects of shapewear, you may strut your stuff in snug fits, showing off your shape with confidence. You may wear shapewear underneath all types of clothing, but the magic is in particular evident underneath clingy fabrics. And today’s fabrications are stretchy yet light. These new fabrics also stretch more, so your pieces maintain their fit and function.

Whether you want to develop a silhouette for a form fitting dress or merely want more strategic body contouring, make sure you get a proper fit. Once you choose the shapewear style that is best for your body type or your specific outfit, do your own “before and after” observing so you may actually see the difference.

Avoid choosing a size to “take off 10 pounds”, as you’ll end up squishing out where the shaper ends. Instead, go for a size and style that smooths and transitions comfortably. If you are buying goods with a specific outfit in mind, look for foundation garments that target sure body parts.

Thighs. A thigh covering, moderate- control slimmer in microfiber or spandex offers control and shaping beyond basic briefs.

Bottom. Try a panty that features shapewear calibers with a reinforced front help panel, such as a medium control brief. This finish coverage allows skirts and pants to merely glide over your behind and your tummy.

Tummy. Choose full briefs, which offer control, or high leg briefs, which flatten. Both offer full aid and ease styling.

Full body. A long leg bodysuit smooths and shapes the body from breast to either the hip or the ankle. Look for styles with a hook and eye closure at the crotch or open crotch panel so using the ladies room is easy.

Shapeware in a color nearest to your skin tone will have to be invisible underneath your clothing. Black works well under dark clothing. Keep in mind that white is actually visible even under white costume items.

Another tip. If you want to wear your own bra, buy a body suit shaper style without an underwire and wear it over your bra for more control and minimizing. Most body suits come in lots of sizes and styles as well.

Skip shapewear that binds, is poorly made or doesn’t breathe. You’ll find a good deal of outstanding pieces beneath labels such as Glamorise, Flexees, Wacoal, Spanx, Body Wrap and Lipo in a Box.

5Probably the best shaper so far.
By E. A. Cook
I have tried more brands and types of shapewear and “support” wear than you could count, and this is far and away the best for ease AND support. The only seams are on the inner thigh, so no red seam mark on your tummy at the end of the day. The top band is soft, and I don’t know how they do it but it stays up and doesn’t roll even without the “gripper” elastic. The best part? The back support. I am a nurse, and I didn’t realize how much lower back help the Bodywrap gave me! Ten times better than any other shape wear or “girdle” garment you could buy. Plus the high-waist comes with the split crotch, no snaps or hooks to mess with. If you don’t have one, buy it now. Buy two!

5No visible panty lines, or bulges anyplace :o )
By sue hastwell
First encountered these locally (Australia) at Fernandos, a delightful special occasion boutique in Osborne Park, attempting to find an outfit for a wedding. Didnt find an outfit, but got onto this extremely pleasing shapewear. And have been wearing this brand pretty much ever since. I have the high waist and long leg shapewear in both nude and black to cover all possible outfits. Started out just for the special occasion wear, but then decisive to wear them each and everyday for each day work wear. No visible panty lines, or bulges anyplace :o ) while wearing this shapewear. It feels like my tummy is held in, ie not sticking out like it normally does ! plus astoundingly numerous lower to mid back support, which you observe straight away, when not wearing the shapewear. Have tried a couple of other brands, but this one is the most supportive and best sizing for my body type.

Over time they become reasonably thin in the back crotch area, and the high waist division have a tendancy to roll down, principally in the back area as the elasticity wears, both in all probability due to extended washing and wearing. If you are not careful, you may without apparent effort tear the fabric with a fingernail if you do not smooth it out as you go along, rather than try to pull it up from the top. Speaking from experience, but did repair the ladder run with nail polish! It is like putting panty hose on, need to get started from the extremities and work your way up, tardily but carefully. To keep the shapewear anti static, for the synthetic type clothing, I smooth on body lotion in the inner and outer thigh region, seems to stop it from being too clingy. Not so bad with pants but a definate problem with a skirt. Interesting sentiment in the open crotch area when wearing a skirt, but you do get used to it !!

Would definately commend and buy again, now actually !

This item doen’t slid down from the waist as other shapers do but it does not hold you in as well as other shapers I have tried. For the price I was very disapointed.
