Excellent Discipleship Tool

I am working through Genesis with my 13 year old daughter. This commentary is written in a way that is simple and easy to understand. I love how the author makes connections to Christ. It sets me up well as a dad to commune the gospel to my daughter as we’re studying the OT. It is probably best suitable for the age range of 8 to 10 but it is working with well my 13 year old. Well done. I commend it.

Exellent commentary for family devotions

We (myself AND my kids) LOVE this book. This has been an magnificent resource for us as we do family worship together. It so happened that our pastor is preaching through Genesis at the same time as we purchased this book, so each Sunday after the sermon, on Monday we follow it up with the matching chapter in this book. It is written in an easy to digest way, but is not at all “dumbed down”. Love it!
